Something has come up, and I can't make it to the Leadership Conference. Can I get a refund?

If it is within 45 days of the first day (May 15) of the Leadership Conference, we are unable to issue a refund. But, if you would like to transfer your registration to another officer, please contact us at conference@leadsonline.com.

How much does it cost?

Tuition for the conference is $129. This includes 16 hours of educational instruction covering the latest topics in investigations and policing as well as networking opportunities and an evening Welcome Reception on Tuesday, May 15.

Can my department pay by check?

Absolutely. At the registration page, choose the number of registrations you would like to purchase, and then, instead of clicking the green "Order Now" button, click on "Show other payment options". This will allow you to print an invoice and mail it, along with a check to:

Are there specific hotel accommodations?

Yes. There is a special rate for our conference attendees at the New York-New York Hotel in Las Vegas$62 per room night. But to get this steal of deal, you must book your hotel by Monday, April 23, 2012.

What about transportation once I arrive in Las Vegas?

If you are flying into the Las Vegas International Airport, it is just a short cab ride from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is located within walking distance of most Conference activities.

What can I expect when I arrive for the conference?

There are a few things you can expect to take away from the Leadership Conference:

  1. Knowledge – The topics covered at the LeadsOnline Leadership Conference will expand your knowledge base and provide you with valuable information to take back to your department and incorporate into your daily work.
  2. Expanded contacts within the law enforcement community – It's not just about shaking hands and swapping business cards. Networking at the Leadership Conference is real. You'll meet other members of law enforcement from across the country and have a chance to really share experiences about the work you do day in and day out. Learning from your peers can be priceless.
  3. Southern hospitality in Las Vegas – The LeadsOnline Crew will make sure you're well taken care of. If you have questions, we'll be there to answer them!

Are meals included?

During the conference, there will be drinks and light snacks served during scheduled breaks. All meals will be on your own. You'll have an hour for lunch each day. Refreshments will be served at the Tuesday Opening Night Welcome Reception.

Do I get a t-shirt?

Of course! All conference attendees will receive the T-Shirt of their choice.

Any tips for finding cheap flights?

We suggest booking your flight early to get the best price. The longer you wait, the higher the price may go. We've also had success finding deals on sites like Kayak.com and Priceline.com.

Is there a charge for having more than one person in the room?

The room rate of $62 is for single and double occupancy only. For 3 people in one room, add $30 – for 4 people in one room, add $60.

Will I have internet access in my room?

Yes, we know that work doesn't stop when you're at the Leadership Conference, so we have contracted with the hotel for you to have a free hard-line connection in your room at the New York-New York.
