How are the winners selected?

Applications will be screened to ensure the eligibility requirements are met.
An independent selection committee will review the applications and videos to select the winners.
Winners will be announced and videos will be shown during the 5th Annual LeadsOnline Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, May 15-17. Applicants need not be present to win.
Winners will be asked to provide a photo of themselves with the law enforcement family member to be used for announcement and media purposes. Photos should not be submitted with the application.

Through the LeadsOnline Future Leaders Scholarship, we are proud to commend the dedication, achievement, and future aspirations of so many talented students pursuing higher education. The Future Leaders Scholarship aims to support the effort our law enforcement officials put forth every day to bring peace and justice to our communities by supporting the educational ambitions of the next generation of leaders, as well as law enforcement professionals currently in the field.
