 In a continuing investigation into the burglaries/thefts of suspect Swails, the following additional cases will be cleared with suspect Swails arrest:

Swails was previously charged with the following residential burglaries:

• 1700 Block Garden Drive, Medford
• 1231 Springbrook, Medford
• 1800 Spring Street, Medford

The Medford Police Department was able to use the “L.E.A.D.S. Online” electronic pawn/buy-sell reporting system to identify stolen property in this case. Suspect Swails had sold stolen property from these burglaries at local buy/sell/pawn businesses.

The investigation into suspect Swails criminal activity has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for additional charges.
