A new service might help people in Onalaska track down stolen items.

Two years ago the Onalaska Police Department teamed up with Pawn America to get the LeadsOnline system. Now, it's adding a new service named ReportIt, which is a free online service that allows you to submit serial numbers and upload images of your valuables into a searchable data base.

With this new service, if any of the items are stolen, police will be able to use the information to try and find the property and catch the thief.
