A Seabrook burglary arrest on Sunday netted several hundred pieces of jewelry and other items that police believe were stolen in two separate cases within the city, Seabrook Police Capt. Sean Wright said Tuesday.
Suspect Joseph Stephen, 49, has been charged with felony theft. Police believe he may have been involved in two other burglary cases in El Lago, Wright said.
Seabrook Det. Ross Breeding had been investigating a burglary that occurred in May. Wright said Breeding established the identity of the suspect when he viewed a video of Stephen allegedly pawning stolen items.
The value of the recovered items has yet to be determined, Wright said. He said Stephen has also been charged in another burglary out of Seabrook.
