Pascagoula PD recover stolen rifles

Man accused in theft of rifles

PASCAGOULA – A Jackson County man arrested on a grand larceny charge is accused of breaking into a garage and stealing two rifles he later sold at a local pawn shop, Pascagoula police Lt. James DeShannon Massey said.

Chad Damon Dugan, 36, was arrested Monday. Massey said police investigators recovered the stolen rifles at the pawn shop and returned them to their owner.

Dugan, police said, has a history of arrests for breaking into garages and stealing items. Dugan was taken to the Pascagoula Municipal Jail pending a bond hearing.
