"We have worked to get our law enforcement teams online with you and our government officials to budget for the LeadsOnline affiliation.
The month of August proved extremely beneficial to Williamson County and Austin P.D. On Aug. 06, I was contacted by a Williamson County detective regarding a loan on guns made a few days before. The detective had taken the report from the elderly female victim the day before, went online with Leadsonline the following morning and...case solved. He stated that he had about 2 hrs. involved in solving the case, and most of that was drive time. The victim recovered all merchandise (valued at thousands) and the satisfaction of instant results. I contacted the County Commissioner in hopes their budget meeting would include this particular case.
Our 2nd store in Round Rock was contacted regarding jewelry they purchased on July 30th. The A.P.D. detective had exhausted the regular channels and finally checked your database. He then came to us, took photos, got positive identification of jewelry and a disc print photos of the suspect making the transaction...and more than likely a slam dunk on a murder case. How sweet it is!
