CRIME FIGHTING: Holmen Police Chief Mike McHugh told the board about a new online subscriber program that allows police nationwide to check through property registered by businesses such as pawn shops and scrap metal companies for serial numbers to see if they match with numbers from stolen goods. The board approved subscribing to the Leads Online program at an expected cost of $1,800 to $2,000 next year. McHugh praised the program's efficiency in helping law enforcement search for property.
