Police said Speedy gave them recorded statement on two separate occasions and implicating two other people. Speedy told police was he was doing to to support his heroin addiction.

According to detectives, Speedy is responsible for more than $33,000 in fraudulently obtained gift cards.

Speedy was arrested on November 14 at the Hall of Justice. He is charged with engaging in organized crime, theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespassing. Police said Speedy had previously been banned from all Home Depot stores.
