Pawn shop records help Madison Police find burglary suspect

October 16, 2013

Madison Police used pawn shop records to help track down a burglary suspect.

They arrested 36-year-old Todd Pink of Stoughton Tuesday night for burglary and fraudulent writing.

The records indicated he sold a stolen Xbox 360 earlier in the day at Pawn America.

The Xbox 360 had been stolen from a Commercial Ave. home following a cut-screen burglary Tuesday morning.

The description the witness provided of the suspect and a getaway car also helped the investigation.

Pink allegedly told police he is struggling with a heroin addiction.
