Lexington Police arrested a man wanted on a Jefferson Co. warrant Saturday.
An arrest warrant was issued for Zachary J. Noble, 28, back on Aug. 9, 2013 for theft by unlawful taking.
According to the warrant, between April 1 and July 23, Noble took property from his employer, America's Best Value Inn and Suites and pawned them at Mr. Money on Bardstown Road.
Noble was a maintenance person for the company. Officers investigated the incident after the employer called LMPD reporting that items had been taken from his business.
Officers said they found that Noble had pawned the specific tools that the victim had provided Noble to perform his duties as a maintenance worker. According to the warrant, Noble also pawned the televisions that the victim had given him to put into the rooms of the business.
Police obtained Noble's tickets from the pawn shop with his identifying information. The owner of the business was able to identify his property from the pawn shop, which totaled an estimated $3,000.
Noble was arrested and will be before a Jefferson District Court judge to face the charges.
