Violent suspects arrested for aggravated robbery

Trip to pawn shop leads to arrests for suspects

Pasadena police arrested two suspects allegedly involved in an aggravated robbery incident at the 4200 block of Parkland.

Police had responded to a call from the neighbor of the victim, who told officers she had been robbed while unloading groceries from the trunk of her car.

The victim said that after she arrived home from the store, she had been making several trips back and forth while unloading groceries when she was approached by two male suspects. According to the victim, the suspects displayed a gun, forced her into her house, tied her up and ransacked the home.

The neighbor who made the call to police observed the suspects as they fled and provided a description of their vehicle. Items stolen from the victim included a cell phone and a Apple Macbook. Entered into NCIC as stolen, those items provided PPD detectives with information about the suspects after the items had been pawned.

The suspects, 20-year old Edgardo Aguilera and 23-year old Luis Aguilera, were arrested by Pasadena police and charged with aggravated robbery.
