Two men have been arrested for allegedly stealing about $4,000 in electrical tools on two occasions from a Verona business.
Jason Svendsen, 32, Argyle, and Thomas Sorum, 25, Reedsburg, were tentatively charged with theft, Verona police said in a news release.
The thefts happened at Plumbing and Glass Service, Inc., 221 S. Main St. in Verona.
The suspects allegedly stole tools from a vehicle of the business, then sold the stolen merchandise to a pawn shop in Madison.
The investigation was aided by LeadsOnline, a nationwide system used by law enforcement to track stolen property that may have been sold somewhere else.
A majority of the stolen tools was recovered, the release said.
