Pawnshop records helped Baxter County investigators arrest two men for burglary and theft charges.

According to the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, guns and fishing equipment worth about $700 were reported stolen at a home on the 1000-block of Redbud Road in Gassville.

In pawn records, investigators found that the firearms stolen were pawned in Mountain Home by Brian A. Calvert, 19.

When he was interviewed, Calvert admitted to the sheriff's office he broke into the home and told police that Robert Weaver, 24, helped him.

Investigators also found that Weaver was connected to a burglary reported a day after the first one, where he stole two guns, a 55-inch television, and a compound crossbow.

Calvert was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center on a felony charge for residential burglary and theft of property. He was also charged with a misdemeanor for probation violation and contempt of court.

Calvert's held in lieu of a $25,000 bond on the felony charges and without bond on the probation violation charge.

Weaver was charged with two felony counts for residential burglary and two felony counts for theft of property. He was charged with misdemeanors for probation violation, failure to appear in court, and non-payment of fines. Weaver also faces a charge for child support nonpayment and is being held on a $2,500 bond for that charge.

He also has a $53,740 bond set for his felony and misdemeanor charges.

Both Calvert and Weaver are scheduled to appear in court on July 17.
