LeadsOnline and LeadsOnlabs (collectively "Leads") operate and maintain an electronic reporting and criminal investigation system for receiving data used by law enforcement officials in their official duties. Leads acts in the capacity of an agent for such law enforcement agencies for the purpose of collecting, maintaining, and disseminating data.
This privacy statement applies to www.leadsonline.com owned and operated by LeadsOnline, LLC. This privacy statement describes how LeadsOnline, LLC (collectively, "we", "us", "our"), collects and uses the personal information you provide on www.leadsonline.com (also referred to as "Leads website") prior to logging in to the system with a username and password. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of this personal information and how you can access and update this information. The secure sections of these websites are available to law enforcement officials and authorized users of reporting businesses according to the terms of the Data Access Agreement for Law Enforcement Users and the Business Participation Agreement for Reporting Businesses.

Collection and Use of Personal Information
You may enter personal information into the Leads website in a variety of situations. For example, you may give us your name, contact information such as your email address, phone number, and / or information about your business when you register for an account. You may also provide billing information such as a credit card number when you buy something such as a forensic sketch. We use this information to process your requests, administer your account, and respond to service requests. The Leads website does not retain your credit card information.
Leads gathers certain information automatically and stores it in log files. For example, when you visit our websites or use our services, we may log certain information that your browser sends us, such as your IP address, browser type and language, internet service provider (ISP), operating system, date / time stamp, clickstream data, access time, and referring website addresses. We collect information about the pages you view, the information you submit and access and other actions you take within the Leads website. Collecting information in this manner supports our security program and allows us to compile statistics about the usage and effectiveness of our websites and services. We do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.

Technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by LeadsOnline, LLC, and our verification and analytics partners. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the website, tracking users' movements around the website and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We use Local Storage, such as HTML5, to store content information and preferences. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5.
We use Google analytics to gather information about your activities on the Leads website in order to provide you with a better user experience.

We will share your personal information with third parties, only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement in sections a.), b.), and c.) below. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
a.) We may disclose your personal information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

If LeadsOnline, LLC, is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and / or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
c.) We may also provide your personal information to our service providers or other third parties as needed to process payments or ship something to you and for similar everyday business purposes. When ordering a sketch through our LeadsOnline Sketches program, your supplied contact information is provided to a forensic sketch artist authorized to work with LeadsOnline. These companies or individuals are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.
User Access and Choice
If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update or delete your information by logging in to your account, by contacting us via telephone, email, or through our contact page. We will respond to your request within one business day.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you register for an account, we will use your name and email address to send periodic emails to you of promotional interest. Out of respect for your privacy, you may choose to stop receiving those emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each email or by contacting us via our contact page.
We will also send you service related email announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. You do not have an option to opt out of these emails, which are not promotional in nature.
